Walking The Northern Forest

This year our Grandfather trip will take you into the North Maine Woods where the moose are plentiful and wilderness still exists. Walk with us every day, leaving camp to wonder across the land into the back recesses of this country. You will have time to ponder and enjoy the deep inner peace that dwells there. We will study nature, hike, canoe, swim, and watch the stars to the singing of the loons.

Journey on the land as I walk and as the elders walked before us. We will carry some dry foods, and simple necessities as we do our wondering. Finding our way by the sun, wind and the lay of the land, we will hike over mountains, up streams and across bogs. This is a land where the only trails are made by moose and deer. Here the spring water and quiet run deep. You will return home with memories of the wilderness and a sense of strength in your spirit. Call for dates 207.426.8138
